Look alike words are an easy and effective way to get your students looking closer at the text while decoding. These look alike decoding worksheets will provide your students with print-and-go practice aligned with best practices from the Science of Reading.

This set includes 42 look alike decoding worksheets that cover a range of skills. This pack follows the same phonics scope and sequence as my Science of Reading Guided Curriculum.

Easy to use! Just print and go. Use as worksheets, laminate and reuse as literacy center mats, or place in sheet protectors to create binder centers.

Students will identify each picture. Then, they will color the word that matches. Each word changes by one sound so students will have to look closely to find the correct match.
