IMPORTANT---- I offer the SAME passage in two different formats. This particular product is a one page passage with 12 text-based questions that go along with the passage.

This passage was written with 4th graders in mind, but it can be used with more advanced third graders (probably want to read together and discuss) as well as fifth grade readers. Please use your best judgement.

What's included?
This pack includes a one page reading passage that should help students better understand the holiday of Memorial Day.
In addition to the passage, there are 12 questions. One is on the definition of preserve, one question is on what a fallen solider is and how we recognize them, and then there are ten other questions.
An answer key is also provided.
