Description
Take a road trip down memory lane with this fun end of the year memory book. It has worked well for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. I am so excited about this booklet because I think the finished product turned out so cute :-) I am hoping you think the same.
Please read the description carefully and click the preview above in order to determine if you think it will meet the needs of your students.I included a cover for grade 2 also, just in case a second grade teacher wanted to try it.
The memory book pack makes an eleven page book, but keep in mind that you can pick and choose the pages. You don't have to use all of them. There is also a generic page that can be reproduced many times for additional memories if you need more.
The theme of this end of year memory book is "Road Trip... Down Memory Lane". Throughout the packet there are graphics associated with a road trip, as well as school themed graphics. The boxes where students do their illustrations are photograph/picture outlines, so it looks like they are 'snapshots' from their "trip" down memory lane.
The pages included are:
*A themed cover for students to color. I included a cover for grades 2nd-5th
*Snapshot of 'ME' and a place for students to write a bit about themselves as the year ends.
*Classmates - students will list the students in alphabetical order by first name
*Teacher page with specific prompts and a snapshot
*School/subject with specific prompts and a snapshot
*Descriptive Year - adjectives about the year
*Advice for an upcoming student
*Lunchtime with snapshot
*Autograph page
*Memory page using a word list to trigger memories
*Field Trip page with snapshot and writing area
*Summer time prompt about creating a memory if they could choose any place to go this summer
*Additional memory page (you could reproduce this as many times as needed for additional memories. It has a writing area and snapshots)
You could give the students the memory book already stapled with all pages, or you could give them out one at a time over the last couple of weeks of school. You would then take the finished memory pages and combine them to make a memory book.
Your students are sure to have fun creating this memory book.
