Description
The poem, "The Hill We Climb" written and recited by Amanda Gorman at President Biden's inauguration was powerful and moving. In this activity students select links to view Gorman reciting the poem at the inauguration and then read through the transcript. This version has been modified for middle school students, and the questions are geared more toward the middle school age range. This is a great activity for students to reflect over current events as well as this powerful moment in US history.
