Description

This physics worksheet is modified from the middle school curriculum. It is excellent for special education students who require an alternate or modified curriculum.

There are 6 items on the worksheet. Four items show clocks and ask students to find the elapsed time. Student is required to circle figure out the elapsed time from a field of two choices, and mark the correct box.

The last two items include a tie-back question to answer questions about physics. The questions ask about accelerated and constant motion. Students are asked to circle the correct answer from a field of two.

For alternate ideas:
- student can use bingo markers to choose the correct answer
- real clocks can be used to count minutes of elapsed time

This worksheet aligns with Maryland content standards:

Math 3.C.1.c: Given a start time and end time, student will identify the elapsed time

Physics: 5.A.1 Develop an explanation of motion using the relationships among time, distance, velocity, and acceleration.
