What educators are saying

I used this in reading intervention as an incentive for hard work and a break from our daily program since the kids miss art to come to my class. They love designing their monsters and many wanted to design several.
My students love coloring, and they Love Halloween theme fun sheets. A big hit for my group. We all love it.

The monsters could easily become the inspiration for a creative writing project or be turned into an art project using a variety of media. How many adjectives can your students think of to describe their monster?

The monsters are also a great way to practice color theory! Have your students make a warm color monster, contrasting color monster, or maybe a secondary color monster. How many textures could they add to a “texture monster”?

I actually paired these coloring pages with the book "Worry Says What". It was a great, low-prep way for students to color their own "worry monster".

These were so fun! We used them to create stories about who the monster is and what they did for a living! We laughed and laughed at how creative our stories got!!

Students loved these pictures.

I initially used them as part of a warm/cool colour art task. I printed more than I needed, and the students kept asking to colour more!
