Monster March Madness

It's Halloween time!

Help your students practice their visual rhetoric skills with this Monster March Madness activity! Students will learn about 16 different monsters - 8 from Greek Mythology and 8 from movies - and decide who will meet in the final showdown. After they create their brackets, they will make a movie poster showing the final fight.

Students love this activity with its silly subject and as a great opportunity to get creative.

Make it even more fun and make it a competition! Have the teacher (or an administrator!) create their own bracket. Whichever student's bracket is closest to the teacher's gets a piece of candy or even a bonus point!
