Mr. Popper's Penguins Novel Study and Literature Circle Packet- 3rd-5th Grades

My students LOVE Mr. Popper's Penguins! They love the silliness, the fun, and the characters. I love the plot, the character development and the vocabulary students are learning from the book.

Included in this packet are text-dependent questions for each chapter within the book. For each chapter, students are also asked to use context clues and a dictionary to discover meaning about 3-6 new words in each of the chapters.

There are points in the test where students stop to create an "I Am" poem about Mr. Popper, and a Haiku about penguins!

Students have so much fun with this book, while also learning a TON!
