What educators are saying

I love using these resources to reinforce skills that students are learning. This worked great for reteaching/extra practice. Highly motivating and fun for my students.
My Response to Intervention (TRI) students loved using this as reinforcement for practicing three digit by one digit multiplication. Thank you for creating such an easy to use and follow resource as well as easy prep. I sincerely appreciate how the answer key is also included.

Description

Multiplication: This is a fun multiplication "Math Find" that focuses on the skill of multiplying three digits by one digit.

Basically, it's a skill sheet where students can practice multiplication, and they get the added bonus of a fun number search.

A 'Math Find' is like a word search puzzle, but students are looking for numbers instead of words. They are looking for the answers to the multiplication problems they solved.

========================

On this multiplication 'math find', students solve multiplication problems. After they have solved all of the problems, they find and circle the answers in the puzzle. Answers can be found going up, down, forward, and diagonally. They will put a check mark in each box once they have found the answer.

When using this skill sheet, you could have students simply solve the multiplication problems without completing the 'math find' number puzzle, or you could require them do both. The puzzle could be used as a 'finished with work' activity in case some students get finished solving the problems before their classmates. Also, if they search and search within the puzzle and they can't find an answer, they most likely solved the problem incorrectly. They would then need to rework the problem to double check their multiplication. In a sense, it offers them a method of self-checking.

This multiplication activity is perfect for a math center, a practice activity after a skill has been introduced, a review activity for when you have a substitute, a test-prep activity, or you can use it in lots of other situations. Feel free to use it in your classroom however you would like.
