Description
This bulletin board kit includes 60 different “I Can Statements” for any activity you might do in an elementary music class. These posters (set in both English and Spanish) could also be used as notes home to help each teacher connect with parents .
The images can be printed and displayed in the music room as posters. For instance, you could easily post some sheet protectors on a bulletin board and change these statements out as often as you need to show the changing standards that you’re teaching. Another great idea is to print the various images out (4 or more to a page to save resources) to be sent home with students once a unit is completed, making a quick connection with parents and giving a sense of pride to students at the completion of a unit.
This product includes:
*60 different “I Can Statements” with variations and descriptions of each. These are great to help students and parents understand the learning going on in the music room.
*Each “I Can Statement” comes in an English AND SPANISH version. Great for the music teacher of English Language Learners who wants to make connections with parents and the community!
*Categories in the bundle of statements include I Can: Sing, Play, Improvise, Compose, Read, Listen, Evaluate, Understand, Find Links (Make Connections) .
*All slides can be printed in black and white but are set in a variety of fun colors. A guide is included in the file to help you print these posters as notes to be sent home.
*An index file to help you select the posters without having to scroll through each file one by one.
*Each different category features a picture of a smiling student. To represent the variety that we find in the musical world, the students represented in this set are from many different nationalities, have various sizes and shapes, and represent a wide swath of the many cultures that we teach on a daily basis!
