Mystery Pictures Bugs - Addition and Subtraction Facts

★Differentiated Mystery Pictures★ are an exciting way to review addition and subtraction! Students solve the addition or subtraction problem in each box and then color it in according to the key. Your students will love watching the picture unfold before their eyes!

This product comes with 4 pictures (2 addition and 2 subtraction). Each of the 4 pictures comes with 3 skill levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The skill levels are denoted by a small symbol (circle, triangle, & square).

This activity is a great fast finisher and can be done independently or in groups. Your students won’t realize they are building math fact fluency because they will be having so much FUN!

• Bee (Addition)

• Caterpillar (Addition)

• Snail (Subtraction)

• Ladybug (Subtraction)

Three Skill Levels for EACH Picture: Each skill level uses different addition or subtraction facts.

These are the skill levels for the two addition pictures:

• Beginner: Adding within 10 (0-10)

• Intermediate: Adding within 15 (0-15)

• Advanced: Adding within 20 (0-20)

These are the skill levels for the two subtraction pictures:

• Beginner: Subtracting within 10 (0-10)

• Intermediate: Subtracting within 15 (0-15)

• Advanced: Subtracting within 20 (0-20)
