This is a pack of fun themed writing paper to write a New Year's resolution for 2024. Each page of writing paper is set up the same, but there are 16 fun patterns to choose from. Students can color in the pattern once they are finished writing. You can give them all the same pattern or give the kids a variety of patterns to choose from. It's not an in depth/time consuming coloring activity, but the finished product is whimsical and fun, especially if they use lots of different colors. I recommend that kids don't have the same colors touch each other. It might be the perfect way to start your first day back after the holiday break..... a short writing and coloring activity.
Please note that I will do my best to update this for 2025, but there are no guarantees. I did update this for 2017-2024, but 2025 is a long way off, and one never knows if anything would keep me from updating it. Thanks for your understanding.
The provided writing space is suitable for a detailed paragraph, but not much more unless you add additional notebook paper. You're not asking them to go through the writing process, but they are writing a resolution and possibly tell how they might achieve it. They can focus on grammar skills, such as sentence structure, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and so much more.
There is also a photo frame for students to illustrate something representing their resolution or to depict how they celebrated the New Year.
The finished product will look great mounted on colored paper and displayed in the classroom or hallway. Parents will love reading them when they sent home. They are a fun keepsake for parents.
