Happy New Year!.....New Year's Resolution Passage and Questions - Your students will enjoy learning the meaning of 'resolution', and making their own personal New Year's resolution using this paragraph passage.
Notice that I have the word .... 'paragraph' on the cover :-)........This is shorter than my other passage packs, as it really is one solid paragraph (not several like my others), but it is filled with great information about resolutions.

It is a perfect passage to use the day students come back from holiday break. For older kids, you could even have it on their desk as morning work. You can use it in a literacy center. It would make a great follow up activity after a read aloud on goals and resolutions.

IMPORTANT---- I offer this SAME passage in two different formats. This particular product is a one page, with the paragraph and questions all on one page.

This passage was written with 3rd-4th graders in mind, but it can be used with older kids as a review. It is marked for grades 3-5 for that reason.

An answer key is also provided, but 3 of the questions are personal, and therefore answers will vary.
