What educators are saying

This resource was fun and engaging for my students while I had a substitute. They were able to complete it with minimal guidance.
My students have loved these activities on sub days. They are engaging and allow the students to display their creativity. Great resource, thank you!

Description

These No Prep Emergency Sub Plans are print and digital to make missing a class or a day/s easier for you. Just print and go or assign digitally! The substitute plans I've created for you will work at any time during the year for any U.S. or World History class. Print out a copy of the activities to put in your sub folder or save the digital versions in your Google Drive or One Drive. You'll never have to stress about leaving sub plans for substitutes again!

Each activity includes an uneditable PDF version, a Google Slides version (the activity is not editable, but students type and add images to the Slides document), and a PowerPoint version (the activity is not editable, but students type and add images to the PowerPoint document).

Includes 10 activities each with clear teacher or substitute instructions:

1. Chatter - a social media activity

2. Comic Strips

3. Create a Crossword Puzzle

4. HistoryBook - a social media activity

5. Create an Infographic

6. Movie Plot Activity

7. Historical Front Page of a Newspaper

8. Whose Phone is This?

9. Create a Word Find

10. History Notes (added June 2019)

This zip file contains uneditable files.

This download contains files that may be printed and copied or used digitally. Use whichever version fit best with your class. The other version remain yours in case you ever need to use them (in case your school makes the jump to 1:1 classes sometime in the future or if you have a student whose IEP requires a hard copy of assignments instead of digital ones).

You may put the materials in this file on a LMS for STUDENT USE that RESTRICTS access like Google Drive, Google Classroom, OneDrive, Edmodo, Canvas, etc. where students are either invited via an email address or log in with a user name and password. IT MAY NOT BE UPLOADED TO A CLASS WEBSITE UNLESS THE SITE IS RESTRICTED TO STUDENTS WITH A LOGIN AND PASSWORD AND IT MAY NOT BE USED IN A COURSE ON OUTSCHOOL OR ANY SIMILAR PLATFORMS/MARKETPLACES.
