16 different non-fiction animal passages that are great for students to practice identifying the main topic and key details of a text as well as asking and answering questions. Passages are great for shared reading or can be used for students to write their own information pieces. The skills included are appropriate for first grade, second grade, and third grade students.
This product is both DIGITAL and PRINTABLE! (Passages are the same for each)
Passages include: elephants, lions, cheetahs, red pandas, rhinos, penguins, dolphins, dogs, cats, sloths, giraffes, apes, horses, zebras, pigs, and sharks.
Digital Version:
-Google Slides Link and instructions on assigning the product in Google Classroom are included
-The slides are interactive- when a student clicks his/her answer, it will tell them correct or incorrect. If it is incorrect, they go back and try again. If correct, they go on to the next question.
-Each animal has 4 questions and a slide instructing students to ask a question about the animal.
-There is a recording sheet and answer sheet to go along with the digital resource to provide accountability.
