Description
Engage your students in reading nonfiction! Students will read about the fashions of Elizabethan Times as they read three nonfiction passages and answer comprehension questions to solve locks and escape. This escape room is perfect as a nonfiction companion to a unit on a Shakespeare play or as an introduction to reading nonfiction.
Story: An evil wizard has sent you back in time. To come back to the present, solve three locks.
1st: students read the back story
2nd: students read 3 nonfiction "clues" and answer questions to solve ciphers.
3rd: When students are finished, they can read the conclusion of the mystery.
