    1. 25 Text Features Worksheets ~ These nonfiction reading comprehension passages and questions are designed for 2nd, 3rd, & 4th grade students. Students will learn about polar animals by labeling the text features and answering reading comprehension questions.

    The original resource consisted of nonfiction text features passages for 7 polar animals (polar bear, emperor penguin, Arctic fox, narwhal, walrus, brown bear, and whale). Each passage also addresses climate change and its effects on the environment. I have recently updated this resources to include additional seasonal reading comprehension passages!

    2. This resource includes 20 text feature posters and 3 text feature scavenger hunts that can be used with ANY text! The first two scavenger hunts list the text feature and asks students to list the page number they find it on & its purpose. The third lets the students name the feature they find along with its page number & purpose.

    4. A Google Forms Reading Comprehension SELF GRADING quiz. This resource can be used as a quiz or as digital task cards. It includes 16 multiple choice task cards in Google Forms! This is a perfect NO-prep activity for distance learning!
