    Nonstandard Measurement Digital Activities for Google Slides Distance Learning

    Learning about measurement is super fun when using Google Classroom and Google Slides. In this digital resource, students have fun measuring objects, ordering objects, and comparing them by height, weight and length. These activities can easily be separated and assigned over several lessons.

    Activities included in these measurement Google Slides:

    - One slide introduces measuring by length, height, and weight.

    - Six slides for measuring height. Students are asked to compare objects and identify them as taller and shorter. Students also use non-standard measurement to measure objects and record their height.

    - Seven slides for measuring length. Students are asked to compare objects and identify them as longer and shorter. Students also use non-standard measurement to measure objects and record their length.

    Free Football Nonstandard Measurement Math Center

    This football nonstandard measuring activity can be used in a math center, as a small group activity, or for independent work. It comes in both color and black and white so that you can copy for several students or print, laminate, and use it over and over.

    Students can use the football measuring sticks, paperclips, cubes, rulers, etc. to measure the football-themed pictures and then record their findings on the recording sheet. Students can also measure items around the room with their football rulers. They can then flip their paper over and draw what they measured and write their measurements.
