Description
Resources to help your students practice using and identifying nouns, verbs, and adjectives! A variety of worksheets and task cards are included. The skills included are appropriate for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade students.
Worksheets:
- match the words to the noun, verb and adjective.
- look at the picture and come up with a noun, verb, and adjective that could go with it
- read the word and circle noun, verb, or adjective
- cut out the sort and paste under noun, verb, or adjective
- color the noun, verbs, and adjectives in each sentence a certain color
- read the sentence and circle whether the underlined word is a noun, verb, or adjective
- fill in a missing noun, fill in a missing verb, fill in a missing adjective
- sort: sort the sentences based on the underlined word
- look at the big picture and write nouns, verbs, and adjectives that match
- silly stories: fill in the blanks with nouns, verbs, or adjectives, then write them into their story
- mystery word: color the words a given color to find the mystery word
