Description

Fun and engaging OCEAN ANIMALS DAY themed resources. These ocean animal worksheets focus on different math, writing, and ELA skills. The majority of these sheets require no-prep. These sheets are great for an ocean animal day or week theme in your classroom. Great for a back to school review or a review at the end of the year. The skills included are appropriate for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade students.

Worksheets:

  • Graphing: count the ocean animals and make a bar graph. Answer the graphing questions.
  • Time: Figure out the dolphin's daily schedule by looking at the clocks. 1 sheet is hour and half-hour and the other sheet is hour, half-hour, and quarter hour
  • Measurement:

-measure the sea creatures with cubes

-find ocean items around the room. Draw and measure them

-figure out which objects are bigger/smaller

  • Math word problems
  • Patterns: Cut and paste the pictures (shark, whale, octopus, jellyfish, dolphin) to complete the patterns
  • Mystery Pictures: Addition and subtraction within 20
  • Writing: writing prompts with a sea animal theme/ directed jellyfish drawing
  • Making words: 2 sheets where students see how many words they can make out of the given words
  • Rhyming words sheet
  • Unscramble the words sheet
  • Alphabetical order: 2 sets of words to sort in alphabetical order and a recording sheet. (12 words in each set)
