Description

This opinion / persuasive writing pack includes a 5 day plan for 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th grade students. I provide daily guidance for direct instruction, guided practice, student practice pages, and 2 rubrics. At the end of the 5 sessions students will have the knowledge to write a solid opinion & persuasive piece.

When I first started teaching I found numerous opinion writing resources. I had bookshelves full! However, each of those resources failed to give me a daily, step-by-step plan, as to how to teach opinion / persuasive writing. After my first few years of floundering, I laid out straight forward plans to share with colleagues and now you!
