This lesson is designed as a springboard to begin discussions of different types of elaboration techniques and strategies. A mnemonic device is introduced to help students recall seven different types of elaboration. Students will receive an overview, examples, and photographic descriptions. The lesson is fully scripted and includes “Teacher to Teacher Talk” for further clarification.
