Pi Day: Fun word search activity with March 14th to celebrate Pi Day themed words.
If your students are like mine, they love these. I use them to introduce vocabulary, or even just give it as morning work. Use it however you would like in your classroom.
In this Pi Day word search puzzle, words are found forward, backward, up, down, and diagonally.
NOTE: I did not include this puzzle in my word search puzzle bundled pack because those puzzles are more suitable for grades 3-5. The vocabulary on this puzzle and the concepts surrounding Pi are more suitable for 5th-7th.

Also, this puzzle can be used as a literacy center if your students write about some of the words listed on the word search. Students could also use ten words in a sentence or state the definition to give you an idea of what they know about each word. It would make a great quiet morning work activity for students as they enter class.
