Place Value Bulletin Board Set
This is a great resource for teaching place value!
This set goes from thousandths through billions. It comes in black and white, but can be printed on colored card stock to color coordinate periods with the respective place value labels. It comes with period labels from thousandths through billions, 15 place value labels, three commas, a decimal, and numbers 0-9.
I laminated each piece so that It could be used on my magnetic white board. This allows me to only put up the place values that I am working on. I can maneuver each piece as necessary with ease while teaching. I am able to remove a period or place value label and have the students name the missing piece, mix up the order of the place value labels and have students place them in the correct locations, etc. The possibilities are endless!
When the unit is over, I move the set to a bulletin board for student reference. My students love that they are so bright and easy to read!
