    Description

Summer Packet: Pop Art style! Included in this summer review packet are all of my popular pop art-integrated summer products. This packet bundles my resources together to provide a discount to you.

    INCLUDED:

Summer Pop Art Math Fact Coloring Sheets:

My Summer Math coloring sheets review all of the times tables and addition, up to 20, and subtraction from 25. There are 4 designs in each operation to meet the needs of multiple grade levels.

Summer Interactive & Pattern filled Coloring sheets.

My Pop Art interactive coloring sheets are not your ordinary coloring sheets. My interactive coloring sheets require the students to be the designer of their coloring sheets and decide on patterns, colors, and overall composition. These sheets are great for creative problem solving. No two will ever look the same. Included are the same designs with the patterns filled in so you can differentiate for your students that might need this option.

All FOUR of my Collaborative math posters are included in this summer packet bundle. Each poster is made up of 20 pieces (each piece fits on a regular 8.5" x 11" piece of copy paper). Each student solves the math on their sheet to find the color of their shapes and then colors their piece of the poster. Then the poster is put together, and students see the final image. It’s always fun to keep the final poster design a secret so kids will be even more amazed. This is a great teamwork lesson.

    Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies. By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.
    Apply properties of operations as strategies to multiply and divide. Examples: If 6 × 4 = 24 is known, then 4 × 6 = 24 is also known. (Commutative property of multiplication.) 3 × 5 × 2 can be found by 3 × 5 = 15, then 15 × 2 = 30, or by 5 × 2 = 10, then 3 × 10 = 30. (Associative property of multiplication.) Knowing that 8 × 5 = 40 and 8 × 2 = 16, one can find 8 × 7 as 8 × (5 + 2) = (8 × 5) + (8 × 2) = 40 + 16 = 56. (Distributive property.)
Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
Interpret a multiplication equation as a comparison, e.g., interpret 35 = 5 × 7 as a statement that 35 is 5 times as many as 7 and 7 times as many as 5. Represent verbal statements of multiplicative comparisons as multiplication equations.
