These Pre-Algebra and Algebra Task Cards include 336 unique task cards focusing on pre-algebra and algebra skills and reasoning. The task cards are arranged into sets of 12 with 28 cards in each set. These cards allow practice on a number of pre-algebra and emerging algebra skills. They can be used for math centers, partner practice, group practice, independent practice, or a daily warm up when students enter the room.

Each set of task cards include a student guide page. The guide page explains the skill and gives one or more examples, showing how to complete the questions. This is extremely useful for math centers, because students can use the guide sheet to review and practice on their own.
Answer keys for every set are also included. You can use the answer keys yourself, or post them around the room for students to check their work as they go.
Students are also responsible for writing out their work and proving their answers using a student response sheet. Four different student response sheets are included.
