My favorite part of the pumpkin investigation set is the investigation book.  The easy-to-assemble books are better than a pumpkin investigation worksheet because you can customize it with the pages that work well for you. Here are all the options that you can use:

  • pumpkin texture (smooth or bumpy) and pumpkin stem (yes or no)
  • pumpkin size (small, med, large) and shape (wide, tall, round)
  • pumpkin weight
  • pumpkin height (measure with cubes)
