What educators are saying
This was a good addition to my Earth Day theme for speech therapy. My students learned vocabulary to describe object composition (plastic, glass, metal, etc.). Then they used this vocabulary to help them sort the pictures.
This was an easy activity to print and use to review our discussions about garbage and recycling after a garbage truck visited our school during our Community Helper unit.
Description
Learning about items that we recycle this Earth Day? This product is the perfect way to introduce the concept of recycling in a very simple way. Simply complete the recycling sorting activity as a class or small group to determine if the item goes in the recycling bin or the garbage. Afterward, have students complete the cut and paste activity and use the coloring page for a fast finisher. Great for a preschool or kindergarten-aged classroom. Fun and educational recycling sorting activity for littles!
