In this Renaissance Unit Student Project, students create a Common Craft style video around ONE of FIVE topics in the Renaissance. Student groups choose Renaissance topics to be their focus for this project. The five topics they can choose from are:
1.) The Gutenberg Printing Press and the impact of the Gutenberg Bible
2.) The Scientific Revolution
3.) Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation
4.) Major Achievements in Art, Literature, and Architecture
5.) The Age of Exploration (Columbus, Magellan, De Gama, etc.)
Students will receive a very detailed paper that will guide their research. Each topic has 4-7 major questions that students will need to address in their video presentation. On the back of this paper is an outline for students to take notes on. Plus, all materials that are needed for student research are INCLUDED in this purchase to make research a breeze. No need to use computers - just print! Research has been included from a variety of reputable sources to help ease the project; you can easily remove this if you wish to add an extra challenge to students!
