As a STEM coordinator, I am always looking for creative ways for teachers to integrate STEM engineering and design challenges into their classroom activities. I decided to work on creating STEM Engineering Challenge Packs for some beloved novels.
This STEM Challenge Pack is based on the book, "The City of Ember", by Jeanne DuPrau. There are five challenges included in this pack:
Paper Box Challenge
Pipeworks System Challenge
Mini-Greenhouse Challenge
Moveable Light Challenge
Build a Boat Challenge
