What educators are saying

This was a great unit to offer my students during distance learning. We live north of San Diego so most of them are familiar with the San Diego Zoo. They found this to be very engaging.
My 2nd graders usually get to go on a field trip to our local zoo. When Covid shut down the world, my class wasn't able to. I used this instead, and they thought it was SO fun!

Description

Hey sweet friends!

I created this virtual field trip to the San Diego Zoo for you to use with your kiddos! You can send it to your kids as an assignment, or go through the field trip together using the screen share feature through video chat (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc). This is a PowerPoint file! I can make no guarantees on its use for other platforms.

If you use this resource for your class, please tag me on Instagram (@orange.blossom.teacher)! I would love to see how you used it. :)

I hope you enjoy!

Much love,

Haleigh

PLEASE read before sending me a question! I may have answered it already. :)

**Be sure when opening the PowerPoint, your Microsoft software is up to date.

**Depending on your computer's settings, some of the videos and/or pictures may not show up. You may have to do some additional research to see how to fix this as everyone's computer settings vary.

**IF YOU ARE USING TEAMS: When you begin to screen share, BE SURE to click on your DESKTOP image when it appears once you click on the screenshare button. If you go straight into the PowerPoint from the screen share button, the PowerPoint will begin sharing WITHIN the video chat, and you DON'T want that. You won't be able to access the hyperlinks this way. I highly recommend testing this with someone before your video chat! :)
