Interactive stations Google Slides that allows students to explore how the American colonies transitioned from a society with slaves to a slave society. Stations are as follows:

Slides include various resources including videos (Crash Course, History Channel, etc.), maps, gifs and graphics, primary source texts, secondary source texts) & allow students to respond to questions right on the slide. Please note, slides that include outdated language (i.e., "Blacks") are from primary source documents and have been kept to maintain the language and experiences of individuals at that time.
Final task requires students to compose a comprehensive historical context paragraph (New York State Regents aligned) on the transition of colonial America from a society with slaves to a slave society. Rubric and check list are included, as well as additional resources for students to explore.
