Description
These guided notes notes will teach students how to solve quadratic equations by factoring. There are 2 pages of notes, 2 pages of practice and an exit ticket included. All notes are now EDITABLE, so as long as you have PowerPoint, you can edit any and all questions/notes to fit your students' needs.
Students will learn the multiplication property of zero and apply it to factoring quadratics. There are step by step instructions on how to factor as well as 14 example problems that scaffold in difficulty as you move on.
Types of problems included:
- Left side factored and equal to 0.
- Equal to zero a=1 and a>1 trinomials
- No like terms, but not in standard form
- Like terms, not in standard form
- There is one problem that requires factoring out a GCF that is a number before factoring completely.
There are notes with 14 examples, 18 problems of practice and a 4 problem exit ticket included and EVERYTHING is EDITABLE in PowerPoint.
