What educators are saying

Some of the inequalities were challenging for my students so they weren't completely able to independently practice but it was a great resource we went through together.
Great review for our upcoming test. Students enjoyed being able to color after their work was checked.

Description

This activity gives students the opportunity to practice solving one-step inequalities in one variable! Learners will work through the problems on their worksheet and then color the accompanying picture based on their answers.

There are a total of 12 questions and their solutions are either written as inequalities or graphed on a number line. The inequalities created for this activity mainly require whole number addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division to be solved. However, operations with fractions and decimals are involved in four questions.

Directions, student activity sheet, coloring page, and answer keys included!

Great for review, as a station activity, homework assignment, and so much more!
