Included in this download is a PDF file of:

  • Brainstorm pages - This is to help your students work through their ideas for any of the 4 writing prompts provided. I find that using a brainstorm activity like this first helps students come up with much better and unique ideas! Brainstorm maps with and without prompts are included.
  • Practice sentence pages - From the brainstorm I move to the practice sentences worksheet. This helps them go from one or two words to forming complete sentences with correct spelling and punctuation. Options with primary lined and regular lined are included.
  • 4 Different Writing Prompts in PORTRAIT OR LANDSCAPE - Final Draft Writing Pages (both landscape and portrait page options) - includes the following prompts:
"If my teacher turned into a frog"
    "When it rains"
    "I love Spring"
    "All about butterflies"
  • Once their practice sentences look good they can transfer those sentences onto their final draft paper. I've included regular and primary lined paper to match your students' needs.
  • Craft Toppers - Students get to choose which of the 5 toppers they would like to color and then cut out!
