Description
Synectics questions take two unlike items and put them into a question of comparison in a unusual way. These are then discussed, with all answers being okay as long as you have a reason to back up your point of view.
Perfect for discussions in pairs, morning meetings, circle time, back to school get to know you activities, centers, creative writing opinion prompts, chalk talk, debate preparation and more.
Easy for all students to participate in because there's no one "right" answer. They're a type of low floor-high ceiling activity.
Great for students from about grade 2 all the way to adults!
