Description
TED Talk lessons make great supplements to planned units, great mini-lessons, and great "sub day" lessons! This growing TED Talk Lesson Bundle includes over 40 TED Talk lessons and activities.
As an alternative education teacher, I strive to create lessons that are interesting and meaningful to the students I serve. Many of the students I serve take courses "independently." TED Talk lessons are perfect for Independent Study students, especially students who have historically been "disengaged" from mainstream education. TED Talk videos cover a range of topics, therefore finding interesting and meaningful talks for almost any student is almost guaranteed! My students love TED Talk videos and the interactive transcript feature (which helps with questions missed after first viewing). I also use TED Talk lessons with students in my Civics, Current Events, Health, English, Life Skills, Psychology, Social Studies, U.S. History, and World Studies classes.
