THE ARTS Forward Planner Australian Curriculum Foundation to Year 2

This is a planning template in a Word.doc form for you to edit. It contains one page featuring the strands, and learning areas of Music, Drama, Dance, Visual Arts and Media Arts. The Achievement Standards are also clearly listed as a quick referral tool.

The second page is your planning document and along the column on the left, you are able to list the elaborations (or if you like, specific outcomes) for your unit. Things that can be graded or assessed. The 10 Lesson boxes allow you to plan each lesson in a chronological format across the term. You should add in your own program.

The Arts Curriculum is featured in bands, e.g. Yr 3 & Yr 4" By the end of Year 4 students should be able to..."

Because this is a new learning area, SOME of the elaborations are also included for each learning outcome. This will assist teachers in planning learning experiences that meet the outcomes.

PLEASE NOTE this is an A3 sized document. You will need to adjust your printer settings AND your page layout size in Microsoft Word. The PDF versions have also been included in case you have trouble with formatting. While these can not be edited digitally, you can record your outcomes by hand.
