What educators are saying

Though it was a great purchase, this is a HUGE banner! I printed the banner 2 pages per sheet and it was still several feet long!
My students loved completing this poster for our library tech. She loved it as well! It is well organized and easy to piece together.

Description

This Thank You Banner is the perfect way to show a heartfelt thank you to a person or group of people that have made a difference in the lives of your students. This would be perfect for saying thanks to healthcare workers! You could use this project over and over for secretaries' day, teacher appreciation, parent volunteers, after a field trip, Veteran's Day, or any staff member leaving your building. This banner could also be made by a family, church group, scout group, or any group that wants to make a big impact on the recipient. The pieces can be mailed and assembled remotely, such as thanking the troops overseas or thanking the first responders to a crisis. (A page can be printed to give them assembly instructions.)

One of the best things about this banner is that each piece has a place for students (or people) to write a personal message inside the heart. This element of personalization will make this banner beautiful and a cherished keepsake.

What You Get:

  • Tips for Success (4 pages)
  • Sample Banners (1 page)
  • Assembly Instructions to mail (1 page)
  • Banner Pages (36 pages) - makes an 18" x 6' banner

>>>>> A total of 42 pages

You can use any color scheme, from mixed to just a few colors, like patriotic, school colors, or the recipient's favorite colors.

This banner is assembled easily with just a glue stick using the tabs to overlap and add strength to the banner. The tabs are also great for keeping track of students' names and putting the pieces in order by coordinates. Tabs at the end of the row and bottom row can be folded over to the back and glued for a little extra reinforcement.

Not only does this project foster creativity and collaboration among students, but it also serves as a meaningful gesture of gratitude towards a particular group or individual who deserves recognition for their hard work or contributions to the school community.

What happy teachers are saying:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We used this resource to thank community members and businesses involved in our school renovations. We had fourth grade students use shades of blue (one of our school's colors) and hung it up for all to see as guests entered our school for the dedication ceremony. It looked so nice.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I used this resource with my students for a community day project. We actually made several of them. One for the Police, one for the Firestation, one for the Office at our school and one for our Board of Education. All of them displayed them somewhere and the kids could not have been happier. Great idea! I also taught how we can all do things separately but when we put all of our talents together, it makes something really special.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you, this was a cute banner to make for a donor that gave so much to our school. My students colored around the hearts too. I love the idea of little notes being left in the hearts.
