This All About Me narrative writing activity is a great way to get to know your students at the beginning of the school year or any time! This digital writing activity is based on the book The Best Part of Me, by Wendy Ewald. It is a wonderful book of poetry-like, personal narratives about what students think is the very best part of themselves. After reading the book together as a class, students are challenged to write about the best part of them using the narrative style of the book. This resource includes graphic organizers and guided writing activities to take students from their initial idea to their final narrative. Connect writing standards with technology in this digital writing activity that will allow students to shine with confidence. A great get to know you SEL activity for kids of all ages. The finished writing activity makes a great bulletin board or hallway display. Bind into a class book for all to read. Simply share this Google Slides presentation with students in Google Classroom or with a share link, for an easy, no-print writing project. This project is completed using Google Slides.
