Description

Psychology of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" is a coming-of-age drama film released in 2013. The movie follows the story of a socially awkward high school freshman named Charlie, who is struggling to cope with the recent suicide of his best friend and the mental health issues of his aunt. Charlie is befriended by a group of older students, including Sam and Patrick, who help him come out of his shell and experience new things. With their guidance, Charlie begins to explore music, literature, and relationships, and starts to confront his own troubled past. As the school year progresses, Charlie's relationships with his new friends deepen and he becomes more confident in himself. However, as he starts to remember repressed memories from his childhood, he struggles to come to terms with the traumatic events that have shaped his life.
