Description
This nonfiction reading and research activity is a great way for your students learn about this fascinating and puzzling time in history as they uncover facts while learning to read for information and using research and computer skills. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the name Salem, Massachusetts? For most people it is the Salem Witch Trials of 1692. Twenty-four people were put to death as a result of these trials. Hysteria? Ergot poisoning? This this will be an engaging activity for your students.
Included are several extension activities that can be used for differentiation and for early finishers.

Answer Key included
I added an Easel version of this webquest. I made the links active within Easel and provided answer boxes for your students. You can assign it from Google classroom or from Easel. Some of the extension activities are not included if the Easel format did not work well with them. They are in the pdf version along with the answer key.
