Three Branches of Government Lesson and Worksheets

This full lesson plan details how to teach about the three branches of government using inquiry and hands-on learning. I taught this lesson to my class of 5th graders and I was amazed by the depth of understanding the students demonstrated. Because of the visual representations used in this lesson, the students were better able to understand the importance of the three branches of government.
