Description
Do you need the perfect STEM activity for the week(s) leading up to Winter Break or at any point in the year? This resource introduces the Engineering Design Process and walks students through it while designing a toy! Students will be following the steps of defining a problem (provided for you), researching, planning, developing, and testing the toy they created.
There are two themed options available for your class: one including Santa & his workshop -OR- a local toy company needing additional help to meet the needs for your students.
The planning pages can be differentiated for your different learners! The recording sheets range from beginning of Kindergarten to 2nd grade skills. So it works for a variety of learners.
This has been newly updated for distance learning classrooms to include a link to Google Slides!
