What educators are saying

My students loved this resource! It was super engaging and was a festive way to wrap up our 2D and 3D. I cut up each 2D and 3D feather and spread them throughout my tables. Each student at the table got a different shape and had to find their matching feathers which they had tons of fun with.
This was a little hard for my students, but it really promoted teamwork and problem solving, and I loved encouraging them to talk things out and collaborate!

Description

Your students will go crazy for these silly shape turkeys! Practice 2D and 3D shapes in a hands-on and engaging way this November with the Turkey Shape Sorting Centers. The black and white version can double as a Turkey Shapes Craft - perfect for Thanksgiving!

What's included in the Turkey Shapes Center and Craft:

  • 2D and 3D Shape Turkeys with feathers to sort (9 2D shapes and 5 3D shapes)
  • Optional color by code recording sheets
  • Black and White version that can be used as an ink-saving center or to make turkey shape crafts

How to use the Turkey Shapes Center: Students will sort the real-life shapes on the feathers to the shape turkeys. You can use only 2D shapes, only 3D shapes, or a mix of both. Recording sheets are included.

How to use the Turkey Shapes Craft: Print on colored paper or print on white paper and let students color. Students will cut out their shape turkey and then sort and glue feathers that match.
