What educators are saying

I loved using the resources for my AP Physics classes. My favorite part of the resource is that it contains aligned lecture guides to powerpoint slides. Rather than taking notes on the separate papers, students preferred the guided notes and it saved their time as well.
Great resource to use prior to teaching 2D Kinematics. Wss helpful for my AP Physics students, but a little more math heavy then they needed. Was perfect for my Calc based Physics H course!

Description

Vectors and Relative Velocity Physics Curriculum. The bundle is differentiated for CP (Regular), Honors, or AP Physics 1. The bundle includes PowerPoint, Guided Notes, Homework, Review, Pacing Guide, and Assessments. This lesson plan bundle includes topics on graphing vectors, adding and subtracting vectors, unit vectors, and relative velocity in 1 and 2-D.

This lesson plan is for high school physics students. They will learn about vectors both graphically and mathematically. Students will also learn about relative velocity, which will solidify their understanding of vectors and will help them as they transition into future concepts such as projectile motion. In the PowerPoint I have embedded some relevant YouTube clips to help students visualize the concepts more easily.

Analyze data to support the claim that Newton’s second law of motion describes the mathematical relationship among the net force on a macroscopic object, its mass, and its acceleration. Assessment is limited to one-dimensional motion and to macroscopic objects moving at non-relativistic speeds. Examples of data could include tables or graphs of position or velocity as a function of time for objects subject to a net unbalanced force, such as a falling object, an object sliding down a ramp, or a moving object being pulled by a constant force.
