    - One Preparation page

Includes pictures and list of ingredients/supplies for adult and child to follow. All recipes have six or less simple ingredients that you likely already have in your pantry (or can easily find at your local grocer) and require minimal prep.

    - One Brain-Building Ideas page

Quick-tips for integrating early childhood development and education supports into your time together in the kitchen.

    - Two Recipe pages

Picture recipe for kids with adult directions side-by-side. No more than 10 steps per recipe to keep things simple. Side-by-side directions for easy parent reference.

    RECOMMENDATIONS:

Print, double-sided, on 8.5x11 paper. I highly recommend laminating the picture recipe page, as we all know that the kitchen can become quite the messy place (or simply reprint the next time you want to use the recipe)!

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE - I'd love your feedback!:

If you're finding that the recipe cards do not work well for you, please reach out to let me know how I can make these work better and be more user-friendly for your family! Your feedback will help make these even better for others!

    SAFETY:

We know the kitchen is full of opportunities for danger. Please remember to kid-proof your kitchen, prepare all items for your child before they begin cooking (so that you don't have to take your eyes off of them), never let them use hot or sharp items, have them wash hands thoroughly if handling eggs, and to generally use all good common-sense and safety measures. You will always know what is best for your child and trust yourself to make adjustments to the recipe accordingly.

    DIVERSE NEEDS:

As the parent, you know your child best and know what they need. Don’t hesitate to encourage your child to do something that’s a little challenging for them, especially since they have your support. This recipe is also designed for kids from age 2-5 and a lot of learning and developing happens in this timeframe! Take some of the brain-building ideas, leave the others, do what works best for your child, and know you’re doing awesome things for your little one!
