Description
This one is so fast and easy! It takes only two class days or less, and with hardly any work for the teacher, students will be highly engaged in discussions about word choice and grammar.
I came up with this idea and started using it decades ago when I was teaching middle school ELA. Now that I teach high school and AP classes, I've still used it every year, and it has never failed with any group or any level.
This resource includes everything you need--a 24-slide engaging presentation to teach diction, a complete lesson plan with student objectives and CCSS standards, and a student handout with directions.
