*THE SNOWBALL OF PETEY McCRUNCH: When Tinsel the Elf shows up at Shamdoogle Elementary to redo Santa's Good-and-Bad List, a single snowball from Petey McCrunch may send Christmas into chaos. The script is written for 8 readers—4 narrators & 4 characters. However, the number of narrators can be adjusted for varying group sizes.
Each literacy toolkit also includes a vocabulary "Word Work!" graphic organizer activity, sound effect cue cards for optional audience participation, and a bonus activity to deepen students reading comprehension. Reading comprehension skills addressed through the bonus activities are:
*Comparing with similes ("Boomer the Bulldozing Reindeer")
*Inferring character traits ("The Snowball of Petey McCrunch")
