Teaching tips:
Craftivity ~ “If I Were a Turkey”: Have students complete the sentence frame. Glue it to the top of a piece of construction paper. Color & cut out the turkey, and glue it so it slightly overlaps their writing piece.
Turkey Hat ~ Copy each piece on the corresponding color of construction paper. Have students cut out and glue the pieces (one by one) on the turkey hat. Lastly, glue the legs behind so they stick out on the sides of the child’s head. You can staple the turkey body to a sentence strip to complete the headband or cut additional brown strips of construction paper to form the band. (For eyes, either have kids draw them with marker, or use googly eyes.)**Adding feathers to the back is a super cute addition
